Which Canon printers can I buy in Secunderabad?

PIXMA MegaTank or a laser printer — which should I buy?
It comes down to what you print and how much of it. PIXMA MegaTank models use large refillable ink tanks instead of cartridges, which makes the cost per page very low once the printer is paid for — the right choice for a home or small office printing in colour and in volume, and for anyone who has been burned by cartridge prices. Laser printers use toner, run faster, and suit text-heavy office printing where colour is occasional. The honest way to decide is to tell us roughly how many pages a month and how much of it is colour; that answers it faster than any spec comparison.
What is a Selphy for, and what do the prints cost?
The Selphy range is dye-sublimation, which is a different job from an ink printer: it produces postcard-size photo prints that are dry, touchable and water-resistant the moment they come out. People buy them for events, family albums and shop counters rather than documents. The consumable is a combined ink-and-paper set, so the cost per print is fixed and predictable — the KP-108IN and RP-108IN sets are ₹1,645 for 108 postcards, and the XC-20L ink and label set is ₹1,195. All three are in stock.
Do you stock Canon ink, toner and Selphy media?
Selphy media is stocked and priced above. For PIXMA ink bottles and laser toner, availability moves with what Canon India is shipping, so message us with your exact printer model — the model number matters, because a bottle that fits a G3770 will not necessarily fit a neighbouring model. We would rather check stock before you make the trip to RP Road.
Is it worth buying a Canon printer from a dealer instead of online?
For a printer specifically, the case for a dealer is warranty and setup rather than price. A GST invoice in your own name from an authorised Canon dealer is what a warranty claim runs on, and printers are one of the categories where claims actually happen — print heads and feed mechanisms are moving parts. We are a Canon Image Square store on RP Road, so the stock is Canon India's own and the invoice is the one Canon expects to see. If something goes wrong in year one, you have someone in the same city to ask.
